Complete Home Renovation

Our architect client wanted to modernise their 1920's villa inside out. With great bones, including rimu hardwood floors, there was much to be celebrated and restored from their homes' period features too, and so we helped them balance the best of the old and new worlds. 

Inside, we stripped the lath and plaster throughout the house, insulated and relined to create a warmer, dryer home. We completely gutted the bathroom and replaced all fixtures and fittings with brand new products, including a tiled floor, tiled shower with rain shower head, double sink vanity, and a stunning new bath. The kitchen was also completely replaced with new, contemporary joinery and amenities, and those great rimu floors were sanded and stained with 4 coats of polyurethane. 

Outside, the weatherboards were replaced where necessary and the whole exterior was repainted. The original shingle fascia was removed and replaced for a more aesthetically pleasing look and improved waterproofing.
